Hailing from Viña Del Mar, Chile, Susana Ferrer started cooking for her family from a very young age. She started looking at recipes and making her own versions to the applause of family and friends who tried her cooking. She brought her love of her country’s style of empanadas to Canadian shores in 2016. Since then, she started her own empanada company, Empanadas Sin Fronteras, to great acclaim in the GTA. Her Chilean style empanadas are made by hand, using the traditional techniques and special touches she learned back home.
